Whining Alternator Noise

I've got a 2009 Toyota Camry aftermarket system with a component system in front , 6x9's in back, 1 12' sub, and 2 amps. I've got that whining noise that seems to be coming from the alternator. It worsens when I turn on the headlights. The noise is still there even when the deck is turned off and when all the amps are off. The installer even pulled out one of the crossovers and disconnected the speakers and the noise was still there. This installer has over 15 yrs experience but he told me there was nothing more he could do. Any suggestions?
