Which would be better?!

Okay .. so im planning on getting (4) 8" RL-I's and i was wondering which would be a better application for SQ ... Sealed or ported .. and if anyone would show me a design i would appreciate it ..

i personally love a low tuned ported box. Many people swear by sealed for SQ. Sealed boxes generally will be the answer for SQ, they are not as efficient as a ported box, but many people feel they are more accurate. It's all a matter of personal taste. If it were me and i was undecided between the two...i would just build one of each and see which one i liked better.

that box is 2.5cft ... the SOund SPlinter Webpage said 33hz and .65 cft ... would be optimal .. but that is def. a nice box . dont get me wrong ..

.65 cu ft. per sub is 2.6.

That would be a perfect box for them if it fits where you need it.
