So I am installing a new system into my 99 E55 AMG and I am wondering what my be the pro's or con's of each setup. I will be running a Kenwood Exceleon KVT-817DVD HU, I already have an Xtant A6001 mono amp and am picking up a JL 300/4 to power the mids and tweets. So here are the possible setups I have in question. I listen to Rap, R&B, Rock like Pink Floyd and Steve Miller, and every now and then some older techno. I do have a hook up for some JL products thats why I choose to get the 300/4.
Setup 1 "I already own all of this".
Front's: Diamond Audio HEX S6.0M w/S6.0X crossovers and tweets
Back: MB Quart 361i coaxials
JL Audio 300/4 Black Series
Subs/Sub: JL Audio 12W6 or 2 JL Audio 10W3s
Xtant A6001 300watts at 4ohm or 600watts at 2ohm
Setup 2
Front's: Image Dynamics CTX65CS
Rear: ? Along the same price of the Image Dynamics
JL Audio 300/4 Black Series

All help would be much appreciated. I have just read over and over and searched and searched and still can't decide what may be the best setup since listening to my stock bose setup for so long. I want good bass but not ridiculous trunk rattling. I have looked over many online sales sites and some seem to have amazing deals on mb quart stuff and other what use to be high end speakers when I was doing stereo stuff. Is it all crap now? Is it all made in China?
