Up or same side will be fine with that box/vehicle. What ever looks better to you...

Not wrong, The reason you want the sub to be on the same side as the port is so that both the sub and the port are playing to the same surface and are at approximatly the same distance from the listener. This creates less chance of cancelation.

Im more than willing to listen to why im wrong, Im going off what I have been told in the past and from past experiences. With that said, replying with No or Nope or Wrong is completly usless to me and the original poster, be productive or dont bother.

I DONT want to fight, i just want to know why Im wrong. As I said in the past, if Im wrong and someone shows me why, Im not only OK with that, I appreciative that someone taught me something new. I just hate the BS 1 or 2 word replys that dont tell me or anyone else anything tangible. So far from where Im sitting Im the only one that actually gave a reason for my response. Apperently my reasoning is wrong but so far its the only one to go off of. So as I said before, Prove Me Wrong

It dont matter which way you put the sub, a box is a box built to specifications for the sub...

I am leaning towards the port because it lokks cleaner and then iu can make an amp rack on top.
