ok so i have my funds lined up so now i just need to decide what to go with. its going in a 97 gmc ext cab pickup. i have an audiopipe 3000d. the only upgrade to electrical has been the big 3. so what would b bestout of these 3 options?

1: 4 kicker comps 15 in full wall

2: 2 DD 1515 in half wall

3: 1 AA mayhem 18 in half wall

whats louder mic (not that big of a deal for me) and whats louder to ear and better for tricks?

thanks for the help fellas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

btw all boxes will be custom made for my truck excluding the AA. the guy at the shop was going to use it in his build but decided to go another way so that box is already made.

I'm SQ all the way ... but if I was to change my 97 Chevy, i'd do 8 12s (ported at 28 to 32 htz) or 16 10s Sealed ...
that would be sick. im just trying to stay around 700 and this is what i have been able to come up with here around town

yeah im not in comps. im just starting to get into audio as a side thing when im not racing mx. if it wasn't for the face that my bike is due for a complete overhaul i would have some cash to play with but since thats not the case my budget is pretty tight.

yeah seat is coming out. and hey bro i appreciate the suggestions. like i said im just getting into this and i dont want to be like every other HS punk who thinks he is a bad *** with 2 best buy subs.

im one of those kids that had no shame in admitting i know nothing about it cuzz in the end all i want is a pretty loud daily beater and some knowledge u know.

2 15s fired up / ports up tuned to 32 htz (assuming your removing your back seat)here again ... just a suggestion bro ...
x2. my re sx 15 is tuned to 34 hz as reaudio.com specs say and it slams. i would have two 15s in but coils on other sx are fried (soon 2 b rebuilt into Fi subs). i also hav 2 kicker zx 1500s running to 2 kinetik hc2000 batteries and a yellow top up front. 200 ho alt and zero gauge power and ground to the amp help out also. lots of dynamat in the cab.

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
