Which super sub do i get? Avalanche, IDMAX or RL-p?

Are both subs known for having quick and tight bass though? I used to have a JL Audio W3, and i hated it, it was very boomy and sloppy. I don't want this sub to be boomy and sloppy. Now i have an Infinity Perfect, and it sound great, but its not loud enough for me.

The IDMAX that i heard ( JAZN's) was pretty nice sounding.

It wasnt boomy or sloppy in 2.3ft^3

Have you ever heard an RL-P? And as of now, the RLP is much cheaper and easier to buy (coming in stock next week). Looks like as long as the IDmax is not leaps ahead of the RL-P, i am probably gonna get the SoundSplinter.

probly gonna be hella hard to find a sub that will fit in a 1.3 inch box

I have my 12" Rl-p in a 1.25cuft enclosure, and it is definitely far from "boomy". Very "tight" and accurate.

I do like it to be boomy too I guess, as long is it sounds good and matches the music though. If its just extremely tight all the time, and never gives me that rolling bass, i don't really want that either. My Perfects give me a good balance of boomy and tight bass.

You will want a box that has a qtc. of around .7 then. If you plan on going sealed that is.
