Which super sub do i get? Avalanche, IDMAX or RL-p?

LFE= Low frequenct effects( low low bass)
shit, this sucks. I have no clue whether to go for the IDMax or the RL-P, this sucks!!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif I wanna go RL-P becuase of the price, but i also don't wanna buy the wrong subwoofer. Help!!!!! So both subs are going to hit as hard as eachother w/ 1000 watts, and also have the same sound quality?

I wish people spent as much time researching enclosure designs as they did actual drivers. Considering the enclosure dictates most of what you guys are talking about here (low end extension, 'punchiness', etc) it only makes sense to me.

Anyways....IMHO go with the Rl-p. I can tell you from experience that in that size enclosure (1.3cuft...net I presume), it will give you what you are looking for at a heck of a price and with some of the best customer service/support you'll ever have the pleasure of dealing with.

I do like it to be boomy too I guess, as long is it sounds good and matches the music though. If its just extremely tight all the time, and never gives me that rolling bass, i don't really want that either. My Perfects give me a good balance of boomy and tight bass.
subwoofers play music. btw.

agreed. mike is an awesome dude

dude just get the idMAX like i did. i was in your shoes once and ppl told me DUDE JUST GET THE IDMAX YOU WILL NOT BE REGRETFUL. they were right. i never regretted dishing out 220 dollars shipped for a USED idMAX. my idMAX humps other ppl's subs in my whole town. can i get a witness?

Do Idmax's not have the low end extension of a Brahma or W7 or RL-p per say?
yes to 2 out of the 3 . nothing beats the w7 there thing is the w7 lacks above sub bass where the others imo beat it. also i might add the idmax is very forgiving in relatioship to its box and can be ran ib as well with great success

The reason I brought that up is I was playing around with the 10 inch IDmax (in a .8 sealed) and it will not hit those low notes very well, 30hz ish. Thew Brahma and the W3v2 both hit better on the lowest notes on like late night tip as well as other low songs. I am pretty disappointed with it and would not recommend it if you like the low low bass but it does very well on the higher bass ie kick drums.
