Which subs?????

i have a problem that i figured maybe some one on here could help me out. I have 2 12 inch audiobahns model AW120T in a slot prted box. i am thinking about selling them and buying 2 12 inch JL audio W3 12's off a buddy. These jl's are the older ones but are still DVC. What i want to know is which is a better set up. I am more into sound quality than bangin really hard. also what box would be best for the JL's and what amp should i use to power the set up that is best. Any info you guys could give would be great. thanks.

ok dude, in my opinion Audiobahn are the worst subs that anyone could ever have! I mean i abosolutly hate audiobahn. They sound ok, but all in all they ****. JL is better, ALTHOUGH, JL isnt all that great either! They dont put out as much power as they say, there voice coils ****, and the warrantys dont help them much either. I say go with some memphis PR124's or possibly some Planet Audio 12's. But if JL is your only option then "Yes" get them! They are way better than Audiobahn!!!

I have the audiobahns now but am trying to sell. i am just on a limited budget right now so some new subs would be out of the question. i was thinkin about gettin a pair of tens and putting them in my car. do you think it would sound good? i just want some bass, not a whole lot my doors dont have to rattle just want my music to sound good. i have a 93 bmw 318is, its a 2 door with a HUGE trunk.
