Which Subs

if you have the money then go for the w7's if not type x's arent far off.... there are plenty of other subs out there that can out preform the type x's for less: L7s for spl... an SX is another, and i just ordered 2 d9s and im pretty sure they will smash a type x....
do i care what ur getting?

lmao man chill out... i use to have a X and it was seald with about 800 watts wasnt loud at all. try them in a ported box with 1000/1200 watts see how you like them then

Sound like we have upset the little youngster. Does your mom know you use bad language on the internet with strangers. Were not down talking you or the type x. I have one. We are just trying to give you advice to make your system sound to your likeings. That is want you wanted, right? You are the one who posted this thread asking for advice about it. Grow up save your allowance and buy a better amp. The sub is great. Later!!!

do i care what ur getting?
just trying to help... but if you dont want my help then fine its just that I was in your shoes b4 so I figured my input could cout for something, and instead of being an a:crying: s hole and telling people to **** off why dont you just make a decission, and if you had half a brain you would realize you arent giving the x's enough power n the first place so its not even a comparison.

what model fosgate amp are you using to power the type x's
i dunno....they dont make it anymore i dont think....i bought it on closeout....i think i am going to get 2 amps to give each sub 1000rms....but i dunno how to hook 2 amps up? if anyone knows how to hook 2 amps up let me know plz.

sell your fosgate amp and buy 1 big mono amp, save you alot of trouble, if you bought the w7's it wouldnt be worth it for how much more it would cost. Since you would still have to upgrade your amp to get em goin. Try upgrading to abig amp and if that doesnt satify, build a ported box. and if you still want it louder look for a more spl oriented sub not sq

I will try to tell you how the shortest and easiest way I can. Get a distribution block. Like 1/0 or 4 awg wire from power source to block. Then two smaller power cables(power wire) like 8 or 10 awg to each of your amps. And each amp has there separate ground to the chassis. Speaker wires from one amp to one sub and then the other. Run your RCA's like you normally would from H/U to #1 amp then from the #1 amp to the # 2 amp. Also your remote wire ran to each amp the same way. Wa Laa. Your done. Thats the easiest way I can explain it anyway. But it would be better just getting a larger mono amp. I have one Type x and one on the way. I plan on gettind a Orion 2500d or something in that neigborhood to push them properly I am worried my MTX 1501d is'nt going to be enough.Good luck dude.
