Which do u think would be better? 1 15in Kicker comp VR or 2 15in audiobahn subs? one amp 882 watts which would sound better?

i think its 6 db anyway...
but theres no gain with the kicker.... it doesnt have double the power of the bahns, its the same amount.

the kicker would have 900w. the bahns would only have 450. it dont matter anyway the kicker cant handle that.

yeah but the +6 applies only overall, like...
you start with one 15", and 900w.

if you doubled the power (one 15", 1800w) that would be 6db

if you doubled the surface area (two 15"s, 900w [450ea.]) that would be 6db

I don't see how if you doubled the power on 1 15" driver from 900WRMS to 1800WRMS how you gain 6db, you will only gain 3db. Now if you doubbled the watts and the cone you will get 6db.

alpine is right, when you double is increases 3 db in most cases.

Ive seen it gain 1 db by removing a sub
