looking to buy 1 12 sub an make big ported box for trunk of my civic. which sub would you guys recommend that will get really loud? looking for 60 spl/ 40 sq. $275 budget for sub.

somewhat outof budget but try the mtx for 339. exteme magnet weight but im an mtx fan so ask others i suppose

You probly won't get the big bass you are looking for from one 12". I would reccomend going to a 15. It's much easier to get louder. Look at http://www.respl.com for an SE or SX. Or check out http://www.stereointegrity.com look at their 12" or 15" model of the magnum.
