I am looking to finalize my sub but i don't know to much about these companies like DD, Fi, and others.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif So I need some recommendations on a 10 inch sub here are my requirements.

Has to be a 10 Inch sub

Power will be 500 at 4 ohms or 800 at 2 ohms "By a RF 1000.1 db amp"

Price range Max is 300

Has to be in a sealed enclosure

It is going to be used for SQ music many different music types will be played.

since your going sealed, count dd out. i dont think they do so well sealed.

imo, look into image dynamics. they make some GREAT subs for sealed apps.

Look into a SSA Icon, Mach 5 IXL, Incriminator Audio lethal injection, IDMAX, alpine type x, fi q, any of those will work. There are a ton I've left out though. I don't know too many pure sq drivers so hopefully someone else can help you out with some suggestions on those.

x2 on the info about these companies. Where can I find pricing info and specs etc. for companies like Re, DD, and Fi.

When I go to most of the local shops they dont have a clue about any of these companies. and of course I'm riding around with JL audio in my ride because of that. If DD's are better then I want them but I want to hear them myself first and that seems to be my dilema.

I just read a post about 2 DD 1508's (two 8" woofers)sounding better than a 12w6v2. Sh*t!!!!

If you are in no super hurry to buy, I'm installing a 10" Fi Q tomorrow in my car running it at around 1000 rms. I'll let you know how it sounds.
