the amp pushes 500 @ 2ohm or 350 @ 4ohms

Both subs will run at 4 ohm since the amp isn't 1 ohm stable, or so I believe.

Ive heard both. the kicker is louder, but the kenwood gets fairly loud and sounds cleaner. I suggest hearing them both and deciding which would be a better fit. I wouldn't go with either personally. I would find a sub you could wire at 2 ohm with a rated 500rms if that amp is a must. maybe the 4 ohm DVC version of the CVR? That way you can wire it to 2 ohm.

Get a 4 ohm dvc Type R

Out of those two I would go for a dual 4 CVR, but like misfit said a type-R would be pretty nice. whatever you get make sure it can be wired to two ohms(dual 4)

Wire the sub like so:

The Type R's terminals are all on one side, but surely you can grasp the diagram provided. And yes, 500 @ 2 ohms...
