Which sub to put into my car, sub vs sub

1. Which sub is better ( considering both are getting the right amount of wattage), the FI SSD12 or the AMERICAN BASS XFL1244 12"

2. Are their any better subs for under 300$

BTW i prefer one with a lot more bass, I don't care too much for sound quality, I just need more bang for my buck, literally

For bang for your buck under 300, the Soundqubed HDC3 is the best choice no doubt in my mind. Pure beasts of subs, and a 15 can be had for 279. Had one and it destroyed the lows. The Fi SSD is great too, but probably not as loud. The Threatcon 4 by C2 looks pretty great too.

If you want bang for your buck i could get you an opti 1233 for about 230. Thats a 3000wrms woofer. Or an opti 1213d for 220 only 1500rms but gets lower than the 1233. Let me know if your interested

The SSD is an excellent sub and can be customized to your goals and install, not to mention it is MADE IN THE USA.

Bang for the buck you say....

Look in the classifieds there is a brahama in there for 250 shipped, or if you have the room there are 2 skar vvx's for 250$. I know everyone hates the owner of skar but the subs are still capable of making noise.

I am all about bang for the buck if you are going new audioque hdc3's are hard to beat.

Although you can get 2 sundown sa 12's b stock for like 350$ put 1k on each and no doubt it will out perform 1 hdc3's, 1 ab vfl , or a single fi on 2k. Or get you a x series b stock they are around 325 i think and put 1500 rms on it.

Between the 2 subs you mentioned I like the AB vfl. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with FI its just that I have had good luck with all of the American bass stuff. My next setup is gonna b 4 ab vfl 12's running off of an ab 450.1 or 2 140.1's strapped.
