which sub should i choose

all right guys and gals im in the market to purchase new subs....my current set up was 2 type r's powered by 2 mrp-m500s, but now im looking for something better.... my sub money is around $400, ive been lookin for a nice 15. i really like the sound of the re audio's and they look nice, but im open to suggestions...id like to purchase it by friday so any help would be great...after i choose the sub then i will worry bout the amp.....o its goin in the back of a jetta(decent amount of room, and if needed i will remove the rear seats...o and im looking for around 900-1500rms

Why not get a nice ported box and more power for the subs you have?

Go with 2 RE SEs old style around 175 a piece, and put them on an audiopipe AP1800

i loved the alpines its just i want bigger subs, id perfer just a single sub setup tho

Are you getting a new amp for the new subs? I also think you should try the subs you have now on more power.

2 type r 12s will probably be louder than an sx15

well he most likely will cause im putting those in his mr2 turbo....its a small car as it is and its gonna have 1 12 behind each seat....i gave him my old 10in type r powered by a i forget the amp but it was providing only 650 rms and that thing got crazy loud with good bass

Trust me, Keep the R's, put them in a bigger ported box, and on more power, and it will be plenty of bass.
