Dude... Pay the extra few bucks and get a bigger voice coil than 2”. The reason I mentioned the AB XD12 is because it's a cheap sub for having a two and a half inch coil.

does it matter that much between 2 or 2.5" voice coil? shopping around i see some cheaper 12"s with 2.5" coils (like Precision Power C.12 200W RMS Sedona Series 12" Subwoofer - C12)

so far ive narrowed it down to either the american bass XD 12 or the audioque sdc 2.0 street 12. both look like good $70 subs

anyone got any other advice speak up please, gona order in the next couple days.

also - anyone ordered from this site before? http://www.mattscaraudio.com/subwoffersab.php site looks kinda unprofessional, but seems to be the best price on the american bass
