Which Sub is best?

I have an alpine cd player/ alpine speakers/ pioneer eq/ jbl amp. I need to get a sub and a amp to go with that sub. I need help figuring out which sub and amp I should get. I like alpine a lot, but I have also heard good stuff about mbquart and jl audio. I am looking for a 10 inch sub with a clean sound. I don't listen to rap or hip hop. I mostly listen to rock/emperimental/electronica music. I am pretty sound savy. I want a great sub. I am prepared to pay around $200 bucks just for the sub. What do you guys think?

alpine type x 10" in a sealed box would fit you just fine

I would agree, but type X is power hungy. Better have you a beefy amp to push it.
