which sub for amps power

i am looking at three different subs for my setup.

2 10" FI SSD subs that are rated at 800w rms

2 10" Mmats P3.0 that are rated at 750w rms.

2 10" TC Sound Epic subs that are rated at 600w rms.

i will be running both off of a Soundstream TRA1400.2 that gives 700rms to each sub.

my question is would it be better to run the amp at full power for the Mmats or SSBs or would it be good to go under the max for the Epics so the amp doesnt have to work as hard??

since i'll be running about 1400rms through the subs and another 240rms through my pioneer rev speakers will i be needing another battery or a cap in my setup. im just curious in case i get to the shop to get everything installed and they want to try and sell me one. i want to know if its necessary.

ETA: im throwing the MMATS P3.0 into the mix, i was reading about them last night and they have a bunch of good reviews.

well after doing several hours of looking around i think im gonna get rid of the Mmats sub because from what i can tell on their website its only dual 4 ohm. if im wrong someone please correct me.

im also gonna drop the FI SSB from my choices cuz its a good 150w less than the other two.

so now its between the Treo SSI and the TC Sounds Epic...only thing pissing me off now is im still waiting on an email from TC Sounds with the pricing from them. i cant find them anywhere else online...AT ALL.

so which ever i choose will be powered by a Soundstream TRA1400.2 so it wont be straining anything, i'll be almost right. i might upgrade the amp in the future but not till i get home for good next september.

You know, you don't have the match the subs rms EXACTLY to the amp's output. And there is no such thing as Fi SSB, it's Fi SSD...

If you do some research, a lot of people don't like TC because they are known to have problems with the motors falling apart and such.

thanks for the responses tiger bass...i keep typing SSB even though i know its SSD, i even have the FI page up and still F*cked it up...oops

if TC are known to have problems then it looks like i will be going with a Treo SSi. i really want a FI Q but the mounting depth is too much by a quarter of an inch. oh well...maybe next time in another vehicle.

well i hear both subs are awesome so its just a small thing but the SSD is 600rms and the SSi is 750rms.

since both are about the same price and quality, that would be the biggest, if not smallest, difference between them.

ETA: prices dont make a difference to me, i dont really have a budget. only restriction i have is the 6 inches or less mounting depth

****, im looking at so many subs im getting them mixed up...

you're right it is 800w....looks like im just gonna have to pick one since they are so similar. if i did go with the SSD which one would be better...the dual 1 or dual 2 ohm?

im not sure exactly what that means, im new to all this so im trying to learn.
if the amp says its 700x2 at 2 ohms or 350x2 at 4 ohms...wouldnt i want to run it at 2 ohms to get the 700rms?
Correct. I probably looked up the wrong amp and assumed you were wiring it mono.

D1 is still going to me the better option so that you can get each sub at 2 ohms.
