Which sound deadener?

Stinger Roadkill Expert is not as good as several other deadener mats, including the Kolossus product mentioned in the first reply up above.

Off the top of my head, you cant go wrong with sds cld tiles, knukonceptz kolossus, stp-atlantic gold, and murdermat mdk.

you dont use deadener for license plate man. You use weatherstrip foam tape from home depot to decouple the license plate from the metal, works 1000x better then deadener.

i put deadener on the back of my license plate mixed with bolting it down with all 4 screw holes

It'll work, but not necessarilty the best tool for the job.. Butyl is a good decoupler though, so deadener CAN work... I use butyl rope quite often to decouple surfaces, but I'd use pure butyl before deadener if given an option and foam weatherstripping is way cheaper than deadener.
