i have the same alpine (7995).. you really like it? i wish it was more like the pioneer with 3d animations.. or jumping dolphins.. or at least a jumping EQ.. something cool like that. i like how the alpine is laid out.. but as far as the animations.. yucc.

yeah the animations ****, but the layout and the vivid detail of color really is nice at night. BTW what type of display is that?

Kenwood 928 display is sick....the deck is ok imo but the display is real nice

well on my opinion - and on the vast majority of people i now too - Alpine has a much better SQ than Pioneers, been there, tried that, always the Alpines had a better SQ... signal from HU was always much cleaner and with more definition, expecially on the treble... Pioneers were always more boomy but more muddy and had a more agressive treble that had a lot less definition
