installer institute or mobile dynamics??

ill be leavin to go to school in the fall and dont know which one id rather go to.. if you guys have any better suggestions let me know

ive looked at both for quite some time. but i cant decide on one. which do you think will have the better courses and will be better overall?

and also have the best place to find a job while i am there

unless you are already intermediate installer... i wouldnt recommend mobile dynamics.. although they start out easy...they go to far for noobs to learn that quick in what.. 1 month

I went to II. But my input really wouldn't count for much, its been so long ago Im sure the curriculum has changed quite a bit by now. I dont think they are even in the same facility any more.

im not really a noob.. i can install and build a little.. but i was thinking about going to ii just because its in fla and it seems to have a little better school in general.. also im going for the whole thing not just a couple courses

i worked with installers from both places. just from what I saw the one from II was much more careful and paid more attention to detail but that could just be the person he is not where he learned from.

Mobile dynamics is probably a more comprehensive class, and it depends on which ii you go to. The one in Florida has better facilities but I actually felt the California instructors were more knowledgeable. I know you get kick *** contacts in Cali (or at least used to) being so many companies come and talk to you during school, not sure how much it differs in Florida.

But I am also with audioholic in the fact that it has been some years since I went, so I am sure much has changed.

Imo the knowledge and techniques you can get with reading and trial and error while the contacts have been handy on more than a few occasions so I would use that as more of a decision breaker than anything.
