i have 2 punch hx2's now. someone was gonna trade both for a single re se and i could go buy another one so id have 2 or should i wait and save for 2 RLP D4's? what will sound better, all subs are loud to me so if these are better then the hx2's ill be happy either way. i have hifonics 1500 or feel free to make any other sub suggestions. i will have sealed boxes maybe as much a 1.1 to work with per sub. i have a passat vw

What kind of budget are you working with? What are your main goals for the subs? I mean are you wanting SQ, SPL, or a mix (SQL)? Cause I would not limit myself to the subs you have listed. Although it seems that everyone jumps on the "sub o' da month" club (the recent being RE and SS, and I just so happen to be getting a rli8 for a test) there are many other great subs out there that are proven to be of tremendous quality with lots of bass reproduction. Not in any particular order:

Treo

Adire Brahmas

Crystal Comp

Diamond Audio m6 or m9 series

Ground Zero

DLS

Incriminator Audio

i would like to stay within 300 for 2 but i will go as far as 486 shipped for 2 ( rlp d4). i want sql i guess. Ive never heard an sq sub but i know i do want it loud but not blow your head off loud. if i can geta sub that does both well that would be great. another problem is some of these dont make a dual 4 of the sub i want. and a lot of these are way out of my price range. i got on this forum to find out what sub you guys like and those are what i came across the most that were in my price range. my friends shop sells treo i guess i could go listen to some of those i know he had a 15 that almost killed me. thanks..
