Which one would hit harder being powered by a 750watt amplifer

Rockford Punch 8" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohms Subwoofer with Polypropylene Cone

or a Pioneer - 12" 800W Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer - Black/Blue

I see a price difference looking at best buy the rockford is about half the watts of the pioneer but cost the same. old saying size doesnt matter does that apply with subs to. certain names are better but i have no clue which ones.

how about a Rockford Fosgate Punch 12" Dual-Voice-Coil 4-Ohms Subwoofer with Polypropylene Cone with 1000 watts max output? how many watts would i need to make it sound good would the pioneer 750 work good with that.
