You dont need the mic to do T/A on the Eclipse. Its actually rather easy. You just measure, follow an equation to get a baseline, and adjust from there to fit your hearing. This is awesome...... Why are there no head units that have all the features i want..... It seems that al the brands are just making cheap stuff now or the real top end (P99RS) and nothing in between.I'll keep reading and searching and come up to some conclusion i guess.
Na, Only looking at new for later onhttp://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-classifieds/498749-premier-deh410ub-4v-preouts-cheap.html

There is the Eclipse CD7200 MKii. Its a dead head, but fits between the budget if you can find one. For $300 though you can get a nice old school Nakamichi, Alpine 9887, P880/P800, Eclipse CD7000, JVC KD AR-8500, even old school Eclipse CD8053.Well i bought the Kenwood X994 for now.
I'll sell my Alp0ine once it arrives and start saving some money for a high end deck.
Has anyone heard if there are any good single DIN units coming out soon around the $500-$600. All the brands seem to make units up to about $300 and then up from there it jumps over $1000 for a mcintosh or Pioneer P99 or similar.
Nothing in between coming in the near future?
I'd love to see a new version of the Pioneer P800 / P880 unit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yeah the 7200 is what i wanted but couldnt find any. I was looking at pretty much all the decks you mentioned on woofers etc and then noticed that they all said "out of stock" in little letters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gifThere is the Eclipse CD7200 MKii. CDA-9887 - Alpine CD/MP3/WMA/AAC In-Dash Receiver
DEH-P880PRS - Pioneer Premier MP3/WMA/AAC Receiver
DEH-P800PRS - Pioneer Premier CD Receiver with High Quality Audio
CD500 - Nakamichi Sound Quality AM/FM/CD/MP3 Player
Yeah no USB in though. And if i add the USB adapter it will do the banking thing my Alpine now does which is the reason its out of the car after only 3 weeks.I have the Alpine CDA 9887, and it is pretty nice.
Good SQ, and tons of settings. The settings are not hard to navigate either if you take the time to read the manual (omg...I said read a manual)
Also, you can turn off the stereo wattage and use total amp power. Cleans up the signal some from my experience.
You can do the Alpine Imprint from Crutchfield. I didnt, but they offer a setup where you put down $50, use it, then send it back. Or something like that.
I am able to setup the crossover/eq settings and really do not use the crossover on my amps at all. Just have to take the time to set it up properly.
It also has 4v preout / front, rear, sub pre outs / and subwoofer controls. Acts like a bass knob built in.
