i am looking to upgrade my current radio to something with bluetooth, rear usb, pandora app control for iphone, its the best possible sound quality for money and plenty of sound tuning functions to get the best sound for my car and setup. have amped speakers and a sub.

the ones i am looking at are

JVC KD-X80BT JVC KD-X80BT Digital media receiver at Crutchfield.com

Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130X950BHS/Pioneer-DEH-X9500BHS.html?tp=5684

Kenwood KDC-BT955HD http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113BT955HD/Kenwood-KDC-BT955HD.html?tp=5684#details-tab

Alpine CDE-147BT Alpine CDE-147BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Pioneer DEH-P8400BH Pioneer DEH-P8400BH CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

thanks for your help and time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The pioneer is really nice, also check the excelon of that Kenwood KDC-x997

I carry both and its a flip of the coin. The Kenwood has a better factory warranty, while the pioneer has parrot Bluetooth which the best.

^^ what this man said. i'd take a Pioneer headunit over anything any day
i have looked at the excelon and it is at least 60 more than any of the others, also i dont like to buy used and the cheapest deh-80prs is about $285 so thats out. so just curious how much better is the deh-80prs vs the deh-x9500bhs? and how does the deh-x9500bhs compare to that deh-p8400bh?

thanks for the help guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

On crutchfield there the same price, sonic has the pioneer a little cheaper but not much

also i just had a though i got to mess with the new version of the pioneer 8400bh and the little flicky thing (>.
Just about all the radios now days feel cheap most of us chose pioneer for there vast amount of features.

An the 80prs has everything the 9500 has except the hd radio and Mixtrax which I don't use. On the other hand the 80prs add time alignment dual l-r 16band eqs flexible crossovers, good pandora control aux in in the back two USB slot in the rear. An sd slot behind the face Bluetooth with standard mic Andre auto eq mic comes with the radio all the others have it sold seperate

So unless u need hd radio or Mixtrax the 80prs is much much better

Sorry I work nights and just got up. I chose the Pioneer from first hand experience. I have a friend that has that Kenwood, its a nice unit, just not as many features as my DEH-80PRS. And this is just my opinion, but JVC is gone to shit. I won't speak on Alpine, cause I have nothing good to say.
