Hifonics BXi606And where the hell can you buy a mono a/b car audio amp?
Class C's pretty **** bad, even for subbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifNo amplifier types are inherently bad, they just have different advantages and disadvantages. Chances are good that with subbass, you probably (don't hold me to this) won't even notice the difference in the first place.
A big suckout in the 40-100 hz region with a peak at tuning is pleasing? The bigger the box with that tuning the more pronounced the peak gets. Interesting...Up the Vb a bit, and you'll get a more pleasing response curve, and thus a better response.
Considering that they are non linear...yeah, pretty **** bad covers it.Class C's pretty **** bad, even for subbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I said to raise the volume, not keep the tuning the same. The Fb will drop then, which SHOULD remove that beautiful node there.A big suckout in the 40-100 hz region with a peak at tuning is pleasing? The bigger the box with that tuning the more pronounced the peak gets. Interesting...
Gives a short explanation of it herereally? what the hell is class T? does it **** and is better than D but worse than a/b?

What would you suggest he do to the tuning? Are you saying keep the port length the same and increase the box volume, thus lowering the tuning? If so, that's what all the other plots there are. They create a nice shelf where the entire sub-bass region is 1-2dB down. Again not exactly optimal.I said to raise the volume, not keep the tuning the same. Huh???I would think a good 3 way component set or really nice 2 way would work better than subs.
