Refurbished Cadence Flash F1200-1D Class D 2400 Watt Mono Block Car Amplifier | eBay

MB Quart ONX1.1500D Class D Monoblock ONYX Series Power Car Amplifier/Amp 806576216988 | eBay

on one of these and you will have an amazing setup
Alot of your guys are promoting American Bass! Are they that good?

I've narrowed down to:

Kicker L5 15, prefab ported box, Autotek mean machine 3200 watt amp.

SA-12 custom ported box MB Quart ONX 1500 amp or American bass amp

American Bass XFL 12 custom ported box MB Quart ONX amp or the American bass amp that were listed earlier

Which will hit the hardest?

Subs do hit way harder in a SUV compared to a civic trunk sedan lol
The XFL looks really good, but will it hit harder than 2 Kicker CVR 12s? Sorry im just skeptical 1 12 vs 2 12s you know, his 2 12s are in a Civic Si coupe
You said he has a prefab box, Ill bet that a pair of these 10s in the right enclosure with the same amount of power will.CVR subs arent bad for a beginner, even these American Bass subs, but I feel pretty confident that the AB will out perform/the Kickers

Id feel pretty confident/think that the American Bass XFL 12 Custom ported box, and that Onyx 1500,would be the ticket/my choice, or a pair of those tens would be much better,on the onyx

Thanks for your help audiobaun! So your think the AB will hit harder than the SA? and harder than the kickers? since mine is a custom box his a prefab kicker with round port on side. Lol sorry i keep asking its just i really really wanna hit harder than him

EDIT: also it will hit harder than the kicker l5 15 ran by same amp in ported box(prefab)?

I think I would go with the pair of tens, the onyx amp, and the tuned ported enclosure, and it would be something to be wreckend with..On 15 needs quite a bit of airspace to run towards it potential, and there just isnt enough room in that truck to get that, one 12 you can,but a pair of tens will sound and hit so much better, and would be perfect for the air space, and room you have to be able to maximize a good well made enclosure to get the best out of those tens,,verses a 15 that needs more, lacking the cu ft/space needed to perform at its best.As far as the SA,and the AB,They are pretty close to the same specs, but I really couldnt tell you which is actually better, though I have heard both, and the SSA are very nice as well..But for a budget first time everyday build, and not a pocket breaker, the AB, are the way to go, and you can get a pair of tens compared to one 12,and have more cone space/getting more for your money.I myself will be replacing my subs in the future,if they ever blow, and the ones ive looked at rt now that meet my criteria are going to be the SSA Xcons. But I can only tell you what I think would be my recommendation,as well as all of us on here.It is up to you to do some comparison, reading, and even checking out videos, measuring, and budgeting of what you want compared to what you can afford:santa:

Also to say one other thing..I remember reading a thread about the Hondas electrical system that has do do something with maintaining constant voltage or something like that, and I believe that Keep_Hope _Alive has an interesting thread that will go into detail about that,or PM him and ask.I feel like it should be a sticky on here myself for Honda owners,.Maybe someone else will remember
