looks decent there are a lot of guys on the forum here that can build and ship a box to you too.as far as the woofer that about normal cost plus shipping .

1.find a sub you like.

2. find a person who has built a box for the same sub and copy the dimensions.

3. take dimensions to lowes and have them cut the mdf for you.

4. glue the parts.

5. screw in sub.

if you can apply some beads of glue and screws then you can build a box. designing is a whole nother story, but once you get the design you will be good

you are in the south so there should be an abundance of shops that can build for you, pro rabbit on here builds and ships boxes or he can cut the wood for you and ship it and you just have to glue and screw it all together. thats prob your best option. his company is called dc creations and its in the supporting vendor section at the top of the forums, oh and they are located in ok, which is just a state over.

and your best choice for a reliable amp that does rated or very close to rated for MB Quart ONX1.1000D - ONYX Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier/Amp

A single 12/15 from Sundown Audio (SA), or Obsidian Audio (OA) or any of the mentioned brands will hit louder than any of those options you listed. You may be skeptical, but take my word. I was in the same boat as you, I was close to buying 2 kenwood 12's in a **** box, then I came on here and these guys turned my world upside down, and now I have a single 15 on 600 watts that gets louder than almost any 2 12' setup that my friends run, and thats in a bad box, not to mention that it sounds amazing, I can play any song and my sub won't bottom out, unlike the kenwoods, which I heard bottom out from one of my lower songs.

You really think this will hit harder than a kicker l5 15 in a ported box? Cause thats my only other option lol. Between Kicker L5 15 and the SA 12. I've seen videos of the SA on youtube and it looks like it hits hard! But the thing is the price... for the same price of a SA-12 i could get a L5 15 in ported box (prefab) and all i would need is an amp. which basically saves me $100. I just want whatever hits harder.

I REALLY wanna out do my cousins 2 kicker cvr 12s in ported box its a kicker box with port on the side. run by some 3000 watt amp but its not truly rated i think

Im sure its not far off..they make some pretty decent amps, but for the price range its going to be a great deal,from what Ive been scoping the net for..I havent looked in the classifieds yet,but this is Bnew,and has a warranty also.It should hit pretty good with the set up,especially the tuned ported box for the sub.
