So what about 2 12" mayhems or 2 12" Death penalties on an saz-4500 or DC 5k? Lets just throw that out there. How would that do?

id a 151 with my 2 mayhem 12's a saz 4500.now i have a dc 12k and doing well over 152.and its a daily driver too,with 2 odyssey pc 2150

I'd do the mayhems over the IA's strictly because I think the aa's will sound better.

can be done for a little over 3 k if you are patient.when i had my powerbass xta 5000's i paid 550 each shipped brand new from pb.i may be able to hook you up on some mayhems.one of my teammates has a pair of 15's he may let go,if interested

Agreed. Put a ******* spider logo on power acoustic and all of a sudden it's great quality stuff for some reason? There's a lot of it up my way and some is fair, none is really impressive.

OP, all of those are comparable subs. Seen AA, Fi, NS, and DC in person. Of the lot, I'd go with the Fi neo (because I loves me some neo motors). Still, you should be able to do the same thing with any of them if you design around whichever you pick.

I would base my decision on price, which company offers best deal on recones, and which company treats you best.

I really am liking the looks of the mayhem but I have no clue as far as an amp to run for them?? What would be a good 3.5-5k amp for under a grand? Ive been looking at a VFL-500.1, AQ-3500, SAZ-4500, DC 5k.. Im not sure though
