yes they are . i went up from a 149.7 to a 150.7 just by switching woofers.also the aa 's will hit better at lower frequency's than even dd.i have a dc 12 k on my 2 12's and doing 152's easy on a burp and 150's on music

That has to be the worst reasons to suggest a subwoofer to anyone.....and you're a rep?

I'm in no position to talk....at all, i'm a huge nut-huger......... but, try looking at slightly higher end amps.. AP, SS, IMO arnt very efficient, and you could get cleaner sound out of something with a similar price

i just know from experience ,the aa woofers get loud and stay loud all day long,dc woofers are nice ,but they just haven't been hanging like the aa's,now the new dc woofers should hang toe to toe with almost any woofer on the market.all i'm saying is the aa will take more abuse than the dc's.i'm not saying that they are bad ,they just need to be in the size box that dc recommends.the box needs to be closer to specs.aa woofers you can put in just about any box ,size wise, and they will pound and sound good

All I have seen from Sound Stream has been ~ on par with audio pipe.. Over rated

soundstream doesn't put efficiency ratings on the new amps ,because they are made by power acoustic = not good

I have seen all of those except the nightshade and meyham. Sounds like the meyhams are pretty bad ***. The DP will kick the xl *** and will walk the btl from my experience but they are purely spl woofers unlike the xl which gets very loud and sounds quite nice.

Also i have not seen a new dp yet and I hear they are louder and run cooler than the orginials

I would do 1, 4 or 5.

1 I could make sound the best, 4 and 5 will get loud as ****.
