Which Kinetik is Group 34 size?

There's been a lot of back and forth arguements that I've seen about what Kinetik is the same size as a Group 34 battery (Yellow top).

I've been told it's a 1400, and I've also been told it's a 1800, both by credible sources. Confused, I don't want to buy the wrong sized battery.

Personally, I'm going with a 1400 just to be on the safe side.

After having two expensive batteries not fitting and having to sell them, I would too.

But I want to get the most power out of one battery. If the 1800 fits, then that's what I'm going with.

They have the measurement specs listed.. why dont you measure your battery and/or tray and see if it will fit?

Well I know that my tray is meant to fit a Group 34 battery.

Problem is, my tray is under an airbox and air filter so getting at it without ramps is kind of hard. I am going to find some ramps and eventually measure it, but now I can't.

if it is an import the 1400 is the way to go.....1800 is GM regular sized kinetiks are flat all around so you might need a strap or 2 nothing major.

but like above said a 1400 for imports and 1800 for gm,dodge, i got a 2400 that im pretty sure will fit under my hood in a 98 dakota, i kno ngsm did a 2400 under the hood of his i think 92 dakota

Huge car, but cramed engine bay. BUT, idk how much room there is down in the tray. Autozone said, Duralast Gold D-34 is the battery for the car.

99 Intrepid vs 02 intrepid are different cars under the hood, not to mention the body. You have a smaller alternator and a bunch of different things under the hood, compared to the newest Intrepids.

Yes, Group 34 batteries are the largest you can fit into hondas, without modding of course.

Nice, I have a 96 LHS, which is almost identical (mechanically) to a first gen Intrepid. Big cars, VERY crammed engine bays.

i could swear that 24F's and 35's are honda batteries...

even when looking at a larger optima though gotta remember it will have less capacity (if both are the same size) than the kinetik
