don't mixmatch subs. it's either the 8's or 10's. use 6.5's as midbass.

Would it work if i used 8's and then like Critical Mass Slim 15's behind the seat since they are not as close to 8's as 10's and 12's are?

I'd say the W7 out of what you have down. I've ran both the Diamond CM3 and the W7. Can't beat the reaction I get when I tell ppl its only an 8"

He said no for a reason.You don't mix/match the subs.You just buy a decent pair of 8's in the first place, good enough for you. IMHO it sounds like you're trying to impress people too much with "the best 8" and hiding 15's behind the seat. Why even bother? Get one or the other.

I love how you generalized. Becauseo ne person is weaksauce with the assasins doesnt mean they are weak sauce. A guy on here coulnt do a 140 in an 'SPL' enclosure with an MT10 and a few kw in a small SUV, I geuss MT's are weaksauce.

Assasins are kick *** drivers. Wait untill I get my TL and put my Girl's assasins on it. I think some will be surprised. It isnt going to be anything amazing...but two $55 10's and 300w.

The reason you don't want to have two different sized/make subs playing the same frequencies is because they will never be able to reproduce those sounds the same way, leading to cancellation and overall crappy sound.
