ok, so i have a manual lock car, and i wanted to get an alarm system. i was wondering for you all that know about car alarms, if any of these are good, and what i should get.

Yo if you want louder it doenst matter which one you buy. Just buy some extra piezo horns hide em and the robber will be deafened when he steps into the car

yeah, i was planning on installing it myself, and i was just making sure that a simple alarm system like this would also turn my manual locks into automatic ones... i think it does, jsut double checking, are alarm systems easy to install?

i would say .. vipr is the best because of the range and lcd screen .. or you could go with one that has a lcd screen and add more piezo's

I had to choose one about 3 months ago and after doing alot of research I figured I couldnt go wrong with a Viper or Compustar--went with the compustar 900 series because of the 3000ft start range---no probs so far
