Which is more impressive? 150@40 or 150@70?

I would for sure say 40hz. sounds MUCH louder to the body ... ha ha that makes sense huh. sounds much louder to a feeling lol

And I selected at 40hz on the scale. Now is it harder to do a 150 at 20 hz yeah. But it is just a lot of metal swelling etc. I want to hear/feel it. not just feel it(yes I know we can hear 20hz) I guess it is just different to me

I remember the best spl system I have heard to this date was playing the song white girl and absolutely dominating those low notes....it was much more impressive to me. I have not heard many spl set ups though

yeah I don't know what my system hits on that song. but I can bounce stuff off the dash and off the floor a good amount on that song

I know some organization in europe does something along those lines. Different frequencies are different classes.

As to the organizations in Europe -- is there any that take the avg of three different freq across the board for a system spl reading. That seems to be what could "save" the sport from the one note wonders.

but anyways, i say the louder you are down low, the more impressive it is IMO. 150 @ 30hz is more impressive to me than 150 @ 60hz. not to say that the higher one isnt quite an accomplishment, i just find the lower one more impressive.

Bassrace is the future of competition. Even if the setups can only play one note, bassrace is still fun to watch and compete in.

to be able to produce such output at a lower frequency (i.e. 40hz and lower) would require way more power and knowledge than to get the same output at a higher frequency
