which is better MTX 8500 12"or Alpine Type-X 12"

which ever one i decide to go with will be put in a 1.75 cuft slot ported box tuned to 32HZ and will be run by an Infinity Refrence 611a putting out around 600 watts or so...i would really like to know which will hit harder and sound cleaner.

should have figured that out before you bought my sub man.

MTX 8500 takes on 600 rms (rated @ 500)

Type X rated at 1000 rms....

with the power you will be sending the subs, I would say the MTX, and no its not because I owned it. I already sold my sub to you. I wasnt impressed with the Type X.

Why dont you just wait for the sub to actualy arrive at your house, before you start asking people for trades, or saying would this be louder or would this sub be cleaner. Just listen to it. Its on its way

I would never compare the two, totally different subs in different classes.
