Yea I know it has to do with the install quite a bit, but I am also wanting something that is quality and will get loud even if the install isnt the best.

believe it or not - I had the junkiest 12" sub ( single 12" alpine old as hell /200w rms)

running off 325w rms in a ultra sick box I built it.

that absolutely hammer down in the car it went in.

I was amazed.

there are so manny good subs out now its crazy.

if you want good sound quality - go with fi q

spl and pretty good sound quality - re sx

all out spl - not so shure.

but now adays - with the crazy *** shit comapnies are putting out,

im shure the fi q is sickning loud. - and clean to boot.

my sx sounds good until I crank it up to stupid loud.

im not even shure if there are subs capable of playing acurately at that level.

its almost not even music anymore at that point.

im about to build my buddy a box for his explorer - subs up - port back

using 4 subs. going to convince him to get "cheaper" ones like powerbass

or something of the likes - as he did not do any electrical upgrades yet

and wont be able to handle any more than 1K watts.

but 4 powerbass subs in a good box, off that power should realley beat down that truck.

for daily driving and bumping dutys.

its all up to what you want to do with the car.

I have a request -

can you post a picture of the area of your car that you wish to put the box in.

maby I can brainstorm up box ideas that will work good.
