Just doing some browsing, I don't want any comments about prefabs or "just build your own box" I've had enough that and I understand it. Just entertain me.

R/T 300 Enclosure Series 314-10 - Single Slot Vented 10-Inch Sub Bass Hatchback Speaker Box:Amazon:Car Electronics

3/4 MDF

18" wide x 13.5" high x 15" deep

1.35 cf airspace per sub - tuned at 42Hz

Or

Atrend E10Sv B Box Series 10-Inch Single Vented Subwoofer Enclosure:Amazon:Car Electronics

1.25 Cu. Ft. Air Space per Sub (Tuning - 37Hz)

(W) 16.25" x (H) 15.50" x (D) 12.00"

Low power sub's are what would be going into it. Ex kicker, Rockford r1, infinity reference sub's like those around 150-200watts RMS. Going in a 94 ford explorer

No way to tell you which enclosure is "better" without knowing exactly which driver you are going to put in them and seeing that driver's recommended enclosure & T-S parameters.

Also - what car are you putting this in and where in the car will it be located?

FWIW, the Atrend looks to be constructed better from the close-up pics.

Brands are R/T and Attend. 94 ford explorer. Currently using a Rockford r1 it says it put in .75 cf sealed box and has no recommended values for a ported box.
Which R1? The R1S4-10 pdf from the RF site has recommendations for ported as follows:

Vented Enclosures R1S4-10

Vb - Internal Area cu. ft. (Liter) 1.4 (39.64)

FB - Tuning Frequency (Hz) 37.3

F3 - 3dB Point (Hz) 32.0

9512 lol If you're in that realm of woofers, there's quite a good selection outside of those 2, but DD is a very good pick IMO.
