Which is a better deal

I have a 2010 ford fusion with the upgraded sony speakers and sound is really good. However, i would really like some more bass. I have been asking around looking for deals and here are 2 that i found. I dont know much about this stuff so any input would be appreciated.

1) Subwoofers, we have a package that has 2 12" subs an amp the enclosure and amp kit for 399 installed. This doesn't include parts like hi-low converter if you need one. The brand is Fusion.

2) As far as Subs we have a tax special bass package for 2 -12" Kicker comp subs , Kicker sub amp, prefab sub box, amp kit, line converter and installation for 550.00 + tax. you can go up from there if your looking for higher power but thats what they start out from.

Thanks for the help.

Honestly I wouldn't go with either of them. Do some research about some good equipment and neither of those fall into that category. The kickers are okay but not worth 550. You would be better off with a single 12 of high quality, a good amp to push it and a box built specifically for it.

Lets say your budget is $650. You can get a sundown sa-12 (185), audio technix 1200.1 amp (265), single 12 box by @double 07 (120-150), amp kit from audio technix (50-90). So thats $610-680

You can get a Obsidian 12" v2 (140), audio technix 1200.1 amp (265), single 12 box by double07(120-150), amp kit from audio technix (50-90). So thats $575-645

So many options… If you want to spend a little more I would go with 2 Obsidian 12 v2's, custom box from double07, audio technix amp kit, audio technix 1200.1. $715-785
For a complete substage with wiring anything under $800 for quality equipment is a great deal!

You should get at @mylows10

I am suggesting the audio technix amp because it is a good amp at a super affordable price for what it is and the owner is a great guy.

Well Im hoping to spend less than 600 and bass wise my friend has 2 12's in his car and that is plenty. Thanks for the help.
Then I would buy good used equipment (amp and subs) from a good seller on here with a properly built box not a prefab. The box means much more than you know. You should be able to get it all for 600 or less. You will be very happy

But what are the details of his 2 12s setup? What subs? What amp? Custom box?

A better quality single 12 setup can out do a less than stellar 2 12s setup any day.

I say with your budget, go with a single 12.

I'm adding a little bass to the JBL system in my '12 Camry and, as of now, the plan, as for subs, is a single JL 12w6v2 on the rear channels of a Boston Acoustics GT42 using an Audiocontrol LC7i for the signal processing. After all costs, including wiring, box, sub, LC7i and amp I will have spent about $650 to $700 give or take. Not bad at all, IMO for what I've got.

Going used, you could get a really nice setup for $600, especially if you're just going to do a basic LOC as opposed to something like the LC7i I'm planning on. Look around the classifieds on here and find yourself a nice single 12 and an amp. Have someone build you a box and you'll be well on your way within your budget. Really, you could go with some new gear...the suggestions up there are pretty legit.

Well the reason I was looking at the couple audio shops was because i dont know anything about installing this stuff so that why I was thinking new stuff so I could get it installed.

have you seen this pre order on subs? $99 each and if you get an apsm 1500 for $125 or an apsm 2000 for under $200 you will be set and you have saved a lot of money

presale on Sub 12" 600watt $99
