the old school red Orion HCCA 250 (800WATTS rms @ 1ohm @ 12v)

or

SOUNDSTREAM PCA1000D

For a sealed box setup ? Which would bang harder ? Which would sound cleaner ?

And going price for a second Orion HCCA 250 is about 275$ on ebay.

I have one right now, and it bangs the living heck out of my subs but I am wanting to know what you guys think !

THANKS... The Orion I have now .. I call it mine but fk.. It's really my cousins and he's already talking about wanting it back soon. This thing fkng bangs so hard it makes me think my windows are going t break.. and he wont sell it to me lil rich spoiled fkr.

I run o/s Orions and the Soundstream will proabably give you more power and will def use less current doing it. The old HCCA Orions are some really inefficient amps.

I've also never seen one of the .5 ohm stereo, 1 ohm mono stable 250HCCAs go for less than $350. The first gen amps (hardwired power and ground and Molex connector for speaker and remote) don't like that kind of load very much.
