Which High end Components?

I currently have a set of MTX 6001 comps powered by an Infinity 7541 amp. I really dont like the way these speakers sound, so I would like to get something far better. When I bridge my amp I will have 278 watts a channel to power the speakers, so I will have plenty of power for a high end set. Which sets of components should I consider?

What kind of budget do you have?

I'd rather leave the amp unbridged, doesn't make any sense to go with a "high-end" set and then run passives that aren't ideal for your specific install...

My budget is around $300-400, but I would prefer to buy a set which are considered the best bang for the buck.

Any other brand names to consider? When I searched the forum I came across names such as CDT, Hertz, Polk, Rainbow. These companies make many different models of comps, so Which ones are good?

Cerwin Vega V-max 65 should be good up to 200 watts w/80HZ or higher high-pass crossover... just go easy on the gains/volume. See onlinecarstereo.com

Critical Mass comps will handle more power and a lower crossover point but they will probably be over your budget.
