Which has Better SQ? RE HC or eD O?

I'm looking at these two, but I want to know which would have better SQ? I think if I get the HC's as my first units, at this price, I'll be happy and all things will be good, but if there's a difference that I'll notice in SQ, I'd rather just get the Elemental Designs units.

Also, eD O's or XXX? Do they have the deal on the XXX's?

edit: which would have better SQ, HC 12's or 15's? I don't want anything muddy, like some cheap RF's.

eD O's are designed for SQ, so I'd say them. HC's are good for SQ, and get real loud doing it,12's or 15's. XXX is a SQ driver and gets extremely loud and sounds great.

Second I have a HC and the sq is pretty badass and it gets pretty **** loud not even half up.Just tune it to a lower Hz and youll be fine.Gett he O if you want sealed though cause the HC dont like it.

Just an update, I think I've finally decided on my system. Since I don't have a lot of money, I'm going with a single 12" eDO (Dual 4ohm), with the possibility of upgrading later. I did want a sealed box, since it's going in a highly populated area of my car (ext cab truck), plus I definitely want high SQ, and I only want a little attention =).

I'm looking at a JBL BP600.1 mono amp. It seems that I can get this whole setup for $400. Anyone know where I can get a cheaper 600-650watt RMS amp at 2 ohms? Unfortunately, neither Best Buy or Bestbuy.com carry them (where I have $100 in gift certificates).

JBL would be ur cheapest bet. Or u can look for something from profile or hifonics. Actually i would pick up one of the avinoxx amps they have great prices as well. Theyr the ED amps that work perfect on ED subs.
