Okay well, here's my story. My car was recently broken into and my deck was stolen. I had the Alpine cda 9887 but I was never really keen on the deck.
Now with the money insurance is giving me I want to buy a dvd player for the deck instead of just a deck.
Now I have no real expertise at all on dvd decks so I was wondering on what I should get? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg but I do want something nice.
I've been looking and I've kind of narrowed it down to the Kenwood KVT-512 or the Pioneer P5000. The Kenwood does look nicer to me but I was wondering on the pro's and con's between the two and if they are worth the purchase?
It's going into a 2000 Mustang so there shouldn't be a fitment issue I don't think. I was looking for Alpine but it's a lot more expensive.
I'm going to be hooking up the unit to the PHOENIX GOLD V8001 RYVAL 1600W MONO CLASS-D AMP and two ten inch jl audio subs.
