Which double din is right for me?

Im in the market for a double din h/u, im not very picky (at least I don't think I am lol) Here's what I want:

1. User friendly ipod navigation (I had the jensen 9311 and 9512 and love the fact it's so easy to use)

2. Doesn't have to have navigation built in, I MIGHT add it later on, but this option isn't an absolute must.

3. I don't want any space or buttons on the sides (like the alpine 205, I prefer the looks of the 505 FAR over the 205) Aesthetics are pretty important as far as this feature goes.

I guess what im wanting is an easy to use, nice looking, quality double din. My budget is $800 + shipping FIRM.

I've had the W505 for a little while now and I think it's exactly what you're looking for. That thing was made for an iPod and you have the comfort of adding nav later on if you want. The screen itself is pretty awsome too. The only thing I would have got instead was the Kenwood DNX8120 but it was way out of my price range.

eclipse avn5510?

I just picked one up for 500shipped from sonic electronics on ebay. It was some model that never made it to production or something but looks legit. They have it as the avn52d.

How user friendly is the 5510/avn52d? Hows the ipod interface? $589 for the deck WITH built in gps and bluetooth is a pretty dayum sweet deal. Looks like im going to get this one unless someone has something bad to say about it.

any info on the eclipse??
i wont know until i get mine in, but everything elcipse is usualy pretty dam good. Couple of the features that i liked about it is the dual disk drives, no more swapping back and forth with nav/dvd/cd. And the motorized face.

The Eclipse is one great unit. The double drive system is nice as you do not need to remove the nav disc at all. It also allows you the option of playing two dvd's at the same time, one on the front screen and a separate one for optional outboard screens. The nav system is easy to use and detailed. The audio quality is absolutely outstanding. The AVN6620 is on sale from most authorized dealers right now, pick it up for sure.

right now my top 2 choices are the kenwood 712 and the eclipse 5510/52nd.

I forgot to mention, I plan on adding headrest monitors in the future. Both look pretty sweet but as of now im leaning towards the eclipse just because i'm getting more feedback on it.
