Yup same as the parrot bluetooth but made especially for Eclipse. I got the AVN6610 installed but havent install the Bluetooth yet so I cant comment on that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif The AVN is very user friendly and GPS is fast and on point (great rerouting feature incase you miss a turn). The screen is large and clear and looks almost OEM in my double-din opening. I cant fully comment on the sound since I havent tuned it yet, but am very suprised initially on how it sounds compared to my RFX-8250 (better or worse?)

Which double din SOUNDS the best? So many have great features, big screens, but which one SOUNDS the best?

From my experiences Eclipse is the best sounding one, It has the good old Graphic E.Q.( I wish all units had a graphic EQ!!) and gold plated hi-volt pre-out, Pioneer has the best user interface and options ( very fun unit) as far as Kenwood unit goes.... I'm looking into buying the DDX8017, for many reasons. Here are a few: 5v Preout, SRS sorround, DSP sound processing,4 Band Parametric EQ/ Digital X`over/ Listening Position Control, 5.1 sorround, menu direct touch control:naughty: , plays MP3, DVD, VCDs!!. The only think keeping me from buying this unit is its 6.5 inch screen. Even eclipse has a 7" Double Din unit and so does everyone else. I was considering the new Kenwood DDX8019 with 5v pre-out, but I dont know why:mad: Kenwwod took away all the sound processing away!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsdown.gif.d22f25895e9b40f2300c953691dacfa2.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/censored.gif.f9ad8e7c6db58c5530c5a0a20a3b5baf.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/beatdeadhorse5.gif.5d70132dea1eb89b73bf2fdbb6027dd6.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/plthumbsdown.gif.d7966af824c93c6021d1aae1778b1c19.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/slap.gif.87520e8ca8e90076ac30e777c0de5331.gif

A new candidate has emerged in my search...

The Kenwood DNX-7100

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/products/ListProduct.aspx?k1=2&k2=38&k3=149&pr=2761

I think the unit is basically a DDX-7019 w/ the navigation built directly into the HU instead of being external. The only apparent minuses to this unit as opposed to the DDX8019 are that it has 2.0V pre-outs instead of 5.0V, 1 usb port instead of 2, and 1 set of AV inputs instead of 2 sets.

Other than those things, the unit is basically the same as the 8019. I don't have any solid pricing on the 8019 yet because it hasn't been released in my area, but I'm kinda leaning towards the DNX-7100 now.

I guess my next question is...Are 5.0V pre-outs worth the extra cost or are they overrated?
