Which D6 to go with my Directed 1100D?

This question has to do with sub/amp/electrical questions so I figured I would ask it in general...

I am planning on getting a Diamond D6 12" to with my old-school Directed 1100d but I cant decide if I should get the 2 or 4 DVC model. the 1100d is rated for:

400 rms@4 ohm

750 rms@2

1100 rms@1

I dont really plan on giving the D6 more than 750 watts sealed since this is going to be for a SQ setup (well lets say 75% sq 25% sql if that makes any sence lol...)

I bought this amp used off of ebay and I had to replace a couple bulging capacitors in it so I dont wanna abuse this thing or my charging system if I don't have to.

What would be the benefits/drawbacks of running this thing at 1 ohm vs. 2 ohm assuming that ~750 watts will be feeding it either way?

Dual 2 if you're getting ONE sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh and give it close to 1000w, it'll like it I promise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
