look into Focal? I think those have great mid bass and the tweeters are very rich.

The octane zrs have good midbass, and sound smooth. Focals are more than likely out of his price range. we are talking about entry level stuff here for under 100 bucs!

i can pay over a hundred bucks. but i just wanted something cheaper to go with. not a comp set that cost 700 bucks. i would rather spend that on subs or amps. i just want a set of 6.5 comps that sound good. Like i said i have a set of 5x7 kappas now but i want a comp set. i found a set of cadence comps on ebay for like 68 bucks. are these anygood. right now for my tweeters i have planet audio's and there not silk and they scream and really just get on my nerves so i would prob. get silk. or like the gold's they have parachute silk. i really like the quarts. they look like there good made but i hear there tweeters are harsh and really mid bass doesnt matter to me anyways i more less like treble and the highs since my subs are loud. i just want a set of comps to keep up with them. and my subs are diamond cm312.2 and i am running 2 diamond d3400.2's to the subs.

hey i just found a set of polk momo mm6 comps. for like 150 these look kick a**. Are these better than mb quarts

i just found a set of diamond m361 comp. set would these be good to. i mean since i have everthing else diamond it would be cool to have a set of comps by them to. and there only 140 bucks

ahh people usually make door pods for thunderchickens lol might want to try keeping the speakers and tweets within 6" of eachother if you can

should be all set. pick a set with good off axis response and i think you should be pretty happy.
