Which budget amp?

Which amp should I go with for an alpine type R 10"? It has to be about $100. I will be running it from a line output converter, if that matters. Its DVC 2ohm. So I can run it at 4ohm or 1ohm. Probably 1ohm considering my budget =)

Would an infinite basslink sound better than this setup? (assuming I get a kickass sealed enclosure, well built and to the right specifications, for my type R)

honestly save just $50 and you can get a very good amp. a directed 1500D goes for $150. gives you 400 watts rms at 4 ohms and 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm.

I have a used Eclipse 2 channel the you could bridge to that sub for 400 x 1 @ 4. Had it on my Infinity Perfect 10" and I handeled it quite well. It goes for $400 retail at the shop down the street from me. Looking to get $100 for it. PM if interested.

I installed a basslink in my friends car and IMO they are a waste of money. The Type R will sound much better.
