which budget 2 channel amp for mmc6500s?

after alot of debating on my comps, i finally ordered a set of polk momo mmc6500s. i've been reading alot of great things about them... but anyways. i'm looking to feed them 150x2 @ 4ohms. my budget is about $170 shipped. i'm not really looking to spend no more than that on a 2 channel amp. after doing a little research, i've come across these budget amps. which amp has best build quality, sq, and is closest to 150x2 at 4 ohms? or please feel free to suggest a different amp in the specified price range. thanks

I've had good luck with 2 different Profile amps.

I had the same "theory" as you, meaning if it's over rated I'll just buy bigger. Got an AP1000 to power some REV coaxs. Gain is up about 1/8 and it drives them nicely. It adds NO noise that I can hear, so I'd say SQ is fine.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one in the future. Can't comment on the others you listed as I have no experience with any of them...

Out of those, the fosgate 25toL or eXcelon. Turn your radar on for a Xenon X200.2 as well.

Look at the Punch 75 on http://www.millionbuy.com and get a new for $159.99-best choice on your list.

My second choice and the price is cheap is the profile. Good budget stuff IMO.

You don't have to use all the power comming from an amp. All it takes is a little gain control. Definitely go for the Rockford.

Since I recommended the Rockford and U.S. Acoustics in your other thread, I'm sticking with those.

I really like the looks of the powerbass amps, hard to find any info on them though.

If that really is a zed amp (that's the generation where the zed/non-zed boards used the same chassis) it's every bit as good as the RF, and at the price US Ac. would be MY "no-brainer".

There's a USX2150 on ampguts that doesn't APPEAR to be a Zed amp, but I don't think that means there aren't any Zed usx2150's.

I'd probably ask the seller for a pic of the board before I bought it. If it's a chinese US Ac the Profile's just as good.
