which box?

I have a ported box right now, but i have too much port noise. So i am gonna build a new box. below are the two boxes i have come up with.

one box is 2.75 cubic feet net and the other is 3 cubic feet net, with the port being wider and longer on the 2.75 box.

will there be a difference in sound between the two boxes?
