I have two 12inch l7 kickers Class Q Series. I wanted to know which amplifier would be better.

JL Audio RD1000/1 or the old school JL Audio 1000/1. The grey one. Which would would be better?

Since your running Kicker subs my mint old school Kicker ZR1000 beast would be perfect ..

you want at least a 2000 rms amp. Something like a rockford 2500.1.

Kicker birthsheet 1623 ..that’s pure class AB power it’s cleaner than most class D amps it can give you that power at 4 ohm over 2000 at 2 ohm check the test on YouTube..these amps are pure beast ..I set a world record with the Kicker XS100 which is the high current version of the ZR1000
